Artist, Keith Haring

Keith Haring (1958 - 1990) an interesting late artist of the twentieth century, very active and committed on drawings, drawn on bold lines, and active figures which carries poignant message on vitality and unity.

I was told by my lecturers of imaging for narrative and storyboards to look up his works for reference. The purpose for doing this is to get a clear idea of my current assignment, a set of four postcards. I learned about Haring only by now, all thanks to my lecturers Sharil and Kristian for pointing out, based on my very first attempt of an not-so-perspective brief sketching. The idea basically from a game I owned quite a while, Overlord, and the setting for my postcards will be like, the leaders of humans and evil beings, the footmen and the underlings. The name Keith Haring came out by them based on how I sketched.

In some sort of unexplained form, I admire his life and artworks for now. 'For the record' I would like to do this post more formally, since I have never been able to be that consistent for a long period, let's say, my longest one month consistency. I am certainly trying my very best, even though I feel like I'm lack the potential of learning from the world artists and designers, I mean, and I wonder now, that western people certainly have better memories of remember what they seen, what they studied, the really good name pronunciation and the existence itself. I am certainly out of control, that I want to be getting even more progressive, even more...

That's it! The room is feeling comfortable at the same time some heat inside my body, so grabbed a Coke from vending machine. Will make an Nendoroid review and post for event SAMS Maid Cafe, I enjoyed that day very much.

SAMS Maid Cafe 2011

It's been a long while, and once again I repeated my mistake for being less blog consistent person. Well, things goes fine with my current studies, I am now a first year for Bachelor of Multimedia Design. I will do my best!

Starting September 23, there will be a special event in Swinburne University Sarawak campus, the first ever Maid Cafe event, organized by the university anime club, Swinburne Anime and Manga Society. Yeah, I believe it's the first time in Kuching, even though I'm Sabahan, so anime fans, and cosplayers should be looking forward to it! As most Maid Cafe do, we have adorable girls in maid costume, cool-looking butlers, serving our customers delicious food and drinks, and of course, the signature photography session with the maids and butlers, and have a wonderful day with us~

My own character design, Asami Hanakawa, as the mascot of the club, pretty much making her own debut to the public, so once again, hope everyone like her!

Lastly, a little announcement from this blog, I would like to include new post section, the 'designers' tags will be available, for the purpose of further improving my knowledge of the world artists and designers, and certainly to share with everyone what I've learned so far.

Summer Anime 2011 Reviews

"My top ten most f*cking awesome Animes" my apologies but I absolutely dislike rating and ranking.

I've been absent from my blog these few days, and now I'm getting sick~ straight up for five days, watched tons of new Animes, as usual to be expecting sooo many good stuff coming from them (and some unwanted stuff...?) Started the draft since last Sunday, it takes me long enough to finish... there are around 20 series of new Animes, what do you think? I'll keep my review simple and clear enough for your understanding, do note so I'll use a lot of the word similarities, so bear with it.

Oh, let's do this, grab some snacks & drinks as the review will goes quite a long way.

This post will serve as my (your) future reference. Again nothing about rating and ranking, haters just gonna hate it, simple and clear. How will my review goes? I'm going to do something like this...
